APERO VEST

by ZaneteKnits

Apéro vest is not just for summer! The idea for the design was born in the heat of the summer lockdown while longing for social connection. It was inspired by memories of hot summers in the South of France, sharing a bit of Rosé on ice with my friends during the apéros we enjoyed.
But the apéros in winter were just as fun :)) With a layering piece like this, the possibilities are endless. As long as the yarn is fingering weight, you can make the vest as cold or warm as your heart desires.

All stitch patterns are fully written and fully charted so you can work with your preferred method. Every stitch and technique used has a link to a video demo on YouTube. A detailed schematic and measurement table is included.

LOVE YOURSELF SHAWL

by Snickerdoodle Knits

To encourage you to foster your self-love, Jessica has designed this shawl with an urgent message to do something special for yourself. That may be knitting a project for yourself, splurging on some fancy yarn, or adorning yourself in an elegant outfit with your favorite hand knit. Whatever self-care means to you, do it for yourself. Love yourself and show yourself that you care.

This pattern is written as a 1-skein shawl and as a 2-skein shawl. It is easy to customize, as the pattern is written as a repeat. With your purchase of the pattern, you will receive one PDF download that includes both written and charted instructions. The instructions are separated, so you can easily print only what you need!

NESTLED DIAMONDS BLANKET

by Snickerdoodle Knits

This is a quick, addicting knit that is perfect gift knitting. It is not a boring knit, as every other row is changing and requires some attention. Once you’ve begun knitting part of the diamond section, you will find that it is quite easy to read your knitting, and the repeat is fairly easy to memorize. Just remember to pay attention to the pattern so you form diamonds and not just straight lines!

REMEMBERING SUMMER SHAWL

by Snickerdoodle Knits

This is a large, cozy shawl perfect for the frigid winter days when you’re thinking back to warm, beautiful summer days. It is comprised of 6 textures (related to the progression of the seasons) that are separated by garter rows.

As the days get cooler and shorter, it’s calming to think back to warm, sunshiny days on the beach, surrounded with laughter and love, and relaxing to my heart’s content. This shawl recalls the progression of spring through fall, including seeds, garden rows, rain, sunshine, buds, and blossoms.

Birds flying low socks by Tiina Kuu

BIRDS FLYING LOW SOCKS / MATALALLA LIITÄVÄT LINNUT

by Tiina Kuu

Birds Flying Low sock design was inspired by
the Finnish artist Vesala’s version of Lauri
Tähkä’s song ‘Tulkoon mitä vaan’. This design was originally named ‘Matalalla liitävät linnut’ in Finnish. The folded cuff can easily be replaced by ribbing. The heel structure can be changed, too; in this design a few extra stitches are added for the short row heel to give the heel more width and depth, thus fitting better for higher instep.

WODSPIRIT SWEATER

by Katerina C. Rieckel

The original inspiration for this sweater came from the shapes of trees and branches. The color of this Lettlopi yarn reminds of dark green-blue woods with secret paths and mysterious creatures hiding in the shadows.

The sweater is worked bottom-up in a cozy loose fit which makes it perfect for cold days.

TESSELATIONS SOCKS

By Karen Hotchin

Knit from the top down, with a twisted rib cuff, these socks have a playful tessellated texture pattern that repeats around the leg and down the top of the foot. Using only knits, purls, and slipped stitches, the texture pattern is easy to memorize, making it a fun project that doesn’t require too much concentration.
The pattern repeat creates a beautiful mosaic-like texture that will keep you interested and the stitches will simply flow off the needles.

MOON COWL

by ZaneteKnits

Moon cowl is a double-layered cowl in stranded colorwork pattern that is inspired by old Latvian pagan deities: the Moon, protector of people, and Laima, the goddess of destiny.

The inner section features the cross of the Moon, signifying the 4 phases of the Moon and also the cycle of life. The outer border sections carry the sign of Laima’s broom, it sweeps away all that’s bad and evil, and wearing this sign is said to bring good luck.
